- Yuga Labs has launched the free-to-play version of NFT game Dookey Dash
- The game has a rewards pool of over $1 million for top scorers
- Dookey Dash: Uncloged is available for download on both computers, iOS and Android devices
Yuga Labs and Faraway have delivered on their promise to launch a free-to-play version of NFT game Dookey Dash. The game is powered by Arbitrum-based ApeChain and is available for download on iOS, Android, Mac, and Windows computers, with players competing for assorted prizes worth more than $1 million. With last season’s winner selling his unique NFT key for $1.63 million at the time, it’s likely that he will also participate in the current competition.
Players to Create Tradable Avatars
Dookey Dash’s current version is largely similar to the last version where gamers jumped over obstacles in an imaginary sewer line. However, the game has a new feature that lets players design their own blockchain-based items like avatars.

Known as “Creator Mode,” it allows players to later trade created items on the Faraway NFT exchange. The game will maintain a weekly leaderboard of top scorers with a “Golden Plunger,” an NFT, being the ultimate reward in the weekly battles.
Weekly winners will battle it out in a tournament at the end of the season for more prizes which will be shared among 250 finalists. Each season will last for roughly three months.
Yuga Labs Enhanced the Game’s Friendliness
Yuga Labs announced the free-to-play version in January with a planned launch of either March or April. The Bored Ape creator, however, kept postponing the date to, among other things, enhance the game’s friendliness.
The game’s last season saw players hire external gamers to get high scores in anticipation of more rewards. Yuga Labs acted and reportedly removed scores thought to be acquired through dubious means.
With Dookey Dash launching a free-to-play version, it’s likely to attract more players.
