  • NFT project Doodles has launched DoodlesTV on the Ethereum scaling layer Base
  • DoodlesTV will host events and unique content
  • Holders of DoodlesTV Super Pass NFTs will have early access to the platform

Ethereum-based NFT project Doodles is expanding its presence in the web3 space with the launch of DoodlesTV. DoodlesTV is a platform to host events and other unique content with holders of DoodlesTV Super Pass collectibles getting the first chance to explore the new platform. The new platform is powered by the Ethereum scaling layer Base, a sign that the NFT project is completely ditching the Flow blockchain for Ethereum since it also migrated another platform, The Stoodio, from Flow to Base, despite moving from Ethereum to Flow.

NFT Holders to Access Pharell Williams Music Videos

According to DoodlesTV web page, the platform serves as a “direct-to-community media” outlet that brings the NFT project, its community, and collaborators together. One of its features is the option for users to conduct live chats with friends and creators.

DoodlesTV Super Pass collectibles, valued at around $7, also give holders access to four streaming events and “corresponding collectibles.” Additionally, they allow holders to make personalized avatars in The Stoodio as they await their “first DoodlesTV event.”

Super Pass NFTs will give holders access to music videos by the likes of Pharrell Williams before their release to the public. They’ll also be the first to watch Dullsvile and Doodleverse, an animated film.

Doodles intends to use the new feature to create deeper connections within the community, allow creators to monetize their creations, plus redefine how web3 users interact with content.

Doodles Sheds “NFT Project” Tag

The launch of DoodlesTV comes three months after Base announced its second summer event scheduled to end in August and when Base is registering an uptick in daily active addresses.

It also comes a year after the NFT project announced a physical family-centered store in Chicago and after shedding the “NFT project” tag to venture deeper into the web3 space.

With the launch of DoodlesTV, it’s to be seen whether the project will start offering metaverse-based experiences.
