Sapling Coming Soon
If you’re not familiar with PIVX, it’s a private and instant electronic cash cryptocurrency. There’s currently PIVX’s own implementation of zk-snarks coming to the chain, and it’s already in public testing. Known as Sapling, it went into public testing back in August and we can’t wait to see it hit the mainnet as it’s a huge feature that the privacy community will thoroughly enjoy.

There’s still no official date on when Sapling will go live, but it’s expected to come out in mainnet build v5.0. When it does, users will be able to take full advantage of shielding and the privacy features that zk-snarks has to offer.
