- There are plenty of cryptocurrency podcasts out there, but not all were created equal
- A good crypto podcast can offer a great insight into a fast moving world from those on the inside
- We run down four essential crypto podcasts that should be on your radar
Cryptocurrency podcasts are a dime a dozen, but there are very few out there that have stood the test of time and continue to put out quality content. We’ve picked four essential crypto podcasts that we think should be definite listens as you strive to avoid other people on your daily run or dog walk.
What Bitcoin Did
Peter McCormack, he of Craig Wright lawsuit fame, has been interviewing the leading lights of the crypto world since November 2017. McCormack approaches his interviews from the point of view of the average bitcoin holder, which means that deep technical discussions are largely eschewed in favor of the topic of the day and the broader Bitcoin and crypto space.
One to check out if you like in-depth discussions that stop short of overly technical matters.
Unchained
Laura Shin has been cranking out Unchained since you were learning to walk (well, June 2016 actually), and she is without doubt one of the foremost authorities on the technicalities of blockchain. Unchained is unashamedly a podcast for those who like to open up a blockchain and see what makes it tick, although she also touches on broader topics. Conversations can get heavy, so this is one that you need to pay attention to.
The Bad Crypto Podcast
Joel Comm and Travis Wright have been giving their take on Bitcoin and cryptocurrency since July 2017, racking up an impressive 215 episodes of the Bad Crypto Podcast to date. Lockdown must have agreed with the guys as they have been releasing hour-long episodes every 2-3 days recently!
Joel and Travis combine the average Joe approach with clear and obvious knowledge on the subject, discussing the hot topics of the day with each other and offering both humor and insight to their listeners.
The FullyCrypto Podcast
You didn’t seriously think we’d leave ourselves out of this list did you? This isn’t just because of self-promotion – we actually think we’re one of the best out there. The FullyCrypto podcast is a two-fold operation, with a light-hearted 15-minute crypto news roundup released every Friday and interviews with a variety of crypto personalities thrown in for good measure.
Written and presented by Mark Hunter, the FullyCrypto podcast launched last year and has clocked up almost 40 episodes. We don’t think there’s anything like this out there right now, and although of course we would say that, why not have a listen yourself and see if you agree?
Essential Crypto Podcasts To Keep Your Tank Full
Of course there are plenty of other crypto podcasts out there catering for various subsets of the crypto space, but we believe that these four essential crypto podcasts will keep your crypto tank full week after week.
