  • NFT project CryptoKitties will now be available as a Telegram game
  • The game is part of the project’s plan to relaunch on the Flow blockchain
  • The game will reward players with free NFTs from an existing collection

NFT project CryptoKitties is joining the Telegram gaming craze and is launching a Telegram game dubbed “CryptoKitties: All The Zen.” The game employs the same screen-tapping mechanism used by popular Telegram games like Harmster Kombat, which recently announced NFT plans. The game is part of the project’s mission to relaunch on the Flow blockchain, a sign that its creators still believe in the project after abandoning it for some years.

The Game Uses Flow Instead of TON

CryptoKitties: All The Zen players will embark on putting the right conditions to hatch Kitties from an egg. The Kitties produce “Zen,” needed to conduct upgrades in the game. Consistent players will later receive airdrops linked to the NFT project.

The airdrop, however, will be powered by the Flow blockchain instead of the TON network used by most crypto-based telegram games. The game also uses a different model known as play-to-eggdrop, which resembles popular models like tap-to-earn used by other Telegram games.

According to Dapper Labs, the creators of CryptoKitties, the game paves the path for the relaunch of the NFT project on Flow from the Ethereum blockchain. Dapper Labs has already released an NFT collection dubbed “Egg” whose collectibles may be offered as rewards to gamers.

Gamers To Earn Flow Rewards Keys

The game’s website noted that season one participants would “earn Flow rewards keys.” CryptoKitties isn’t the only forgotten project to join the Telegram gaming mania. The Flappy Bird game, for example, has also found new life on Telegram after being unavailable for over a decade.

Flappy Bird creators, however, said that the game will never include NFTs, adding that other web3 features will be optional for players.

With CryptoKitties launching as a Telgram game, it’s to be seen whether it’ll attract the same following as it did in its heydays
