  • A new Cristiano Ronaldo NFT collection has dropped on Binance
  • The collection features representations of his most famous goals
  • Buyers get the chance to have a kickabout with the great man

While banks and payment processors may be running away from Binance, one man is running towards it. Cristiano Ronaldo and the troubled exchange both announced round two of its NFT collaboration, Forever CR7: The Goat NFT, with the chance to meet the soccer legend among the prizes available in the launch. The NFTs range from celebrations of Ronaldo’s career milestones to individual moments, with his best goals making up an ultra-rare collection and looking to fetch five figures in a currently depressed NFT market.

$15,000 For Ultimate Highlights

Ronaldo dropped his first NFT collection in November 2022, just four days after a blistering interview with Piers Morgan was broadcast in which he savaged his then-club Manchester United. The interview eventually saw his contract written off, but the publicity was good news for the NFT collection which proved to be very popular.

Eight months later and Ronaldo is playing for the Saudi Arabian side Al-Nassr and seemingly more content, although it’s doubtful that many of his goals for the team will feature in Forever CR7: The Goat NFT. The NFTs in the collection range from $10 to $15,000, with the most prized item being a representation of his stunning overhead kick for Real Madrid against Juventus in 2018.

Chance to Meet the Man Himself

Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao tweeted about the collection last week, revealing that one of the prizes available at the launch was the chance to have a kickabout with the soccer legend:

Given Ronaldo’s draw the collection will almost certainly prove popular, despite the NFT market experiencing a steady drop this year, with floor prices for even so-called blue chip NFT collections continuing to crumble.
