It’s that time of the year again when we rush to the end of the bed at five in the morning to hope that Santa has left us some bitcoin in our stockings, only to find coal again (or worse, BSV). Whether you’ve been a good boy or a bad girl (or in between, in all senses), we here at FullyCrypto would like to wish every single one of our readers a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
Party Like it’s 2013
With Bitcoin making two all-time highs in 2021 it has seemed like 2013 all over again, and there is a real chance that it could hit six figures next year. Alt coins too have been sailing up to incredible new highs as the sheer size and scale of the crypto space has exploded.
Bitcoin has come in for a fair amount of criticism too, some just and some unjust, but even the biggest Bitcoin bull couldn’t have seen El Salvador accepting it as a currency.
What a year.
FullyCrypto Celebrates and Commiserates
It’s also been a big year for FullyCrypto. We celebrated our first birthday in April, and although the departure of one of our writers meant that we had to end the FullyCrypto podcast after seven months and 40 episodes, it showed that we were more than just another crypto news site.
We’ve been steadily growing under our new name as 2021 has gone by, strengthening our reputation as an unbiased, no-nonsense outlet not afraid to tell it like it is.
All Eyes on 2022
With Bitcoin looking like all it wants for Christmas is to start building a stairway to $100,000, there’s every chance that we’ll be rocking around several gold plated Christmas trees with Lambo tags on them next year. Will we see more countries adopting it next year? Will we see mainstream media outlets dialing back on the ‘planet killing’ rhetoric? Will Craig Wright stop claiming he’s Satoshi Nakamoto?
We can but hope.
From everyone at FullyCrypto, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
