Two Bitcoin enthusiasts have leveraged the power of ChatGPT and filled it with Bitcoin knowledge to create the world’s first AI-powered Bitcoin information service, Talk2Satoshi. Talk2Satoshi has been fed information about Bitcoin from sources such as Saifedean Ammous’ 2018 book The Bitcoin Standard and The Great Reset and the Rise of Bitcoin by one of the developers, Pierre Corbin, as well as emails and forum posts by Satoshi Nakamoto. The pair hope that Talk2Satoshi, which launched last week, will help newcomers understand the complexities of Bitcoin in an easy, and by now familiar, way.

When ChatGPT Met Satoshi

Ferrer and Corbin announced Talk2Satoshi on May 31 and launched the protocol on June 1, and was so popular that its servers were overloaded on opening day, eventually answering almost one thousand questions about Bitcoin. The protocol marries the chat facilities of ChatGPT with information on Bitcoin from its creator and established works on the subject, ensuring that users are given unfiltered answers from Satoshi himself on the subject and workings of Bitcoin.

Learning about Bitcoin is often far from easy for newcomers to the space, with existing sources often impacted by bias. However, Talk2Satoshi strips all this away and gives answers straight from the horse’s mouth, explaining Bitcoin’s core features ‘like I’m five years old’ for those who want to start from the very beginning to answering complicated questions over programming and formulas used.

The protocol clearly knows its stuff, as it argues that Bitcoin is not turing complete, which Satoshi imposter Craig Wright claims it is, and that it wasn’t invented purely for micropayments, which Satoshi imposter Craig Wright also claims it was.

Good bot.
