As per usual, there are some exciting events coming up in crypto, and this week sees Stratis enter the ring, Waves give away free Bitcoin SV, and KuCoin get a facelift. Find out more right here, right now!
KuCoin Upgrade
Monday 18th sees Ian Balina’s favorite exchange KuCoin launch its Platform 2.0, which it says will bring an advanced API and the introduction of trading extras such as limit, stop, market, post only, and iceberg orders. Once one of the top exchanges for new alt coins, the exchange has since slipped to 84th place by adjusted volume, so they will be hoping the changes can bring old users back and attract new ones.
KuCoin will be performing a system upgrade for Platform 2.0, expected to last around 14 hrs. Pls note that all funds will be safe & unaffected throughout the update. Pls keep following our announcements. Thanks for your patience & understanding!https://t.co/8FnIVoYPPx #KuCoinV2 pic.twitter.com/Sf1V5Ea9Ze

KUBO Expansion and St. Jude Partnership
This week is also big for a small coin called Kubo Coin (KUBO). This KUBO team have big plans for the project, including a crypto exchange and Kubo debit cards, and last week saw an announcement of a tie-in with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, which will see KUBO be the first cryptocurrency used for donations. Monday sees a live chat with St. Jude’s to formally announce the link, while Tuesday will see a “Major Kubo Project Expansion”, including the revealing of masternodes and proof-of-stake details.

Waves Bitcoin SV Bounty
Friday will see a bounty for Bitcoin Cash (BCH) holders on the Waves client, as the exchange is performing a kind of supplementary hard fork and giving BCH holders an equal amount of Bitcoin SV (BSV). The snapshot will be taken at midnight on Friday 22nd Pacific Time (PT), so if you want your free BSV make sure you have your BCH on Waves by that time. You’ll then be able to trade and withdraw your BCH and BCV on Thursday 28th.
BCH(ABC) and BSV gateways will soon be enabled in Waves Client!
Prior to this, BCH trading will be paused to take a snapshot of balances, after which BCH holders will receive an equal amount of BSV.
