Craig Wright is the co-founder of Bitcoin Cash Satoshi’s Vision and a long-standing claimant to being Bitcoin’s anonymous creator, Satoshi Nakamoto. Called an “unknown Australian genius” by Wired magazine in 2015, Wright has gone on to spend years trying to prove he created Bitcoin, including signing transactions, filing lawsuits, and registering a copyright claim to the Bitcoin white paper, but the vast majority of the crypto world remains unconvinced. He does however retain a core following who believe that the arrogant, loud-mouthed boaster is indeed the secretive, media-shy creator of the world’s premiere cryptocurrency.
