Aavegotchi Rarity Farming Season 4 snapshots begin.
When and where?
Thursday , August 13th in the Gotchiverse.
What’s happening?
Rarity farming is a play-to-earn mechanic designed to reward the most engaged members of the Aavegotchi ecosystem. Rarity Farming rewards players for making their Aavegotchi NFTs as rare as possible, including equipping them with wearable NFTs, petting them twice daily, and participating in XP events. This can lead to GHST token rewards for Aavegotchis across the categories of Rarity, Kinship, and XP.
Thursday sees the first snapshot of Season 4, and with 1.5 million GHST tokens (roughly $2 million USD) up for grabs, they’d better be pretty impressive.

Monero Network Upgrade
What’s the event?
Monero network upgrade.
When and where?
Saturday, August 13th (block 2,688,888).
What’s happening?
Monero undergoes its regular network upgrade/hard fork. All participants in the Monero network must update their software to the new version (v0.18 “Fluorine Fermi”). Changes include a ring-size increase from 11 to 16; an upgraded algorithm, “Bulletproofs+”; fee changes; and major multi-sig fixes and improvements, including critical security patches.
Please be aware that due to delays related to important multi-sig security and bug fixes, combined with hardware-wallet-related delays, the #Monero network upgrade has been postponed until the ~13th of August:https://t.co/9NKlGtqXAn
