- Hitachi has introduced an enterprise web3 development solution
- Hitachi aims to support web3 firms from training their teams to helping them commercialize their products
- The company is among many conventional firms exploring the blockchain world
Japanese multinational conglomerate Hitachi has announced a web3 development support solution through its subsidiary Hitachi Solutions. Hitachi wants to help upcoming and existing web3 firms by training their staff and guiding them in commercializing their projects. Hitachi joins other traditional Japanese companies exploring the blockchain world, something that may help Japan become a leader in the space.
First Understand the Web3 Foundation
According to Hitachi Solutions, the web3 development solution provides “total support to help customers from training to system development for commercialization.” It noted that the key to utilizing the web3 technology is by understanding its foundation and building systems based on this foundation.
Hitachi aims to support the web3 world through offerings like platform-as-a-service, cloud computing, and software-as-a-service. The firm highlighted digital assets distribution, new types of DAOs, and supply chain management as some web3 use cases. It didn’t, however, disclose whether it’ll focus on these use cases.
Hitachi Solutions disclosed that it will start offering web3 support in the lecture halls where it will educate people about the basics of the technology. These will be followed by consulting services, infrastructure development support services, and maintenance support “when system operation failure occurs.”
Japan Openly Supports Web3 and Blockchain Technology
Japanese companies exploring the blockchain world are, to a significant extent, encouraged by the country’s open support for the technology. Three weeks ago, for example, Japan’s new prime minister Shigeru Ishiba released a policy paper showing his support for web3 and blockchain technology.
The country’s former prime minister, Fumio Kishida, also supported web3 technologies like DAOs and NFTs. Kishida said that the technology can help the country showcase its innovations to the world.
With Hitachi venturing deeper into the web3 and blockchain worlds, it’s likely that more conventional Japanese companies will start exploring the space.
