Reading Time: 3 minutes

What’s going on in the cryptocurrency world next week? Dunno, probably some shitcoin being listed, some conference somewhere with five people attending, the usual. Ah well, let’s get on with it.

FTX to Delist RUNE (June 13)

FTX has announced that it will delist RUNE spot markets but will consider relisting it after RUNE’s mainnet integrations. FTX released the following information regarding the delisting:

  • RUNE spot markets will be suspended on JUNE 13, 2022, at 2 pm (UTC)
  • All RUNE/USD and RUNE/USDT orders will be cancelled
  • RUNE deposit will be suspended
  • RUNE will be removed as a non-USD collateral asset. Please make sure you have enough collateral after the removal.
  • RUNE spot borrow and lending positions will be auto-closed at 1-hour TWAP index price, and spot borrow and lending will no longer be supported

FTX also announced that withdrawals would continue to be supported even after the delisting. Other exchanges have already announced support for the RUNE mainnet, including Binance, which will swap RUNE holdings 1:1.

Exeedme to Relaunch its Staking Feature (June 13)

Exeedme is set to relaunch its staking feature this week, opening 3 Levels of Rookie Staking:

  • Level 1: 1500 $XED
  • Level 2: 3000 $XED
  • Level 3: 4500 $XED

According to Exeedme, the decision to relaunch its staking feature is a function of “popular demand” by its fans, with higher stakes leading to better returns for investors according to the project. Exeedme’s launch of the staking feature is a precursor to the launch of its “Crypto Bird” blockchain game.

Exeedme says it will grant guaranteed early access to the Crypto Bird sale to all of its stakers. In addition, the higher a user’s staking level the more Crypto Birds per wallet proportionally they can have, and the price they will pay will be below the announced initial price of 0.05 ETH.

Exeedme is a Play2Earn blockchain gaming platform that allows gamers to monetize their skills and earn money while playing their favourite games. The company says its goal is to build a decentralised ecosystem that supports a new gamer economy where DeFi and NFTs enable players from all skill levels to earn money while playing games.
